It's a windy and brisk morning and I'm sitting with a cup of coffee.  I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who have encouraged me with my latest short story 'Salt and Pepper Affair'.

I'm having more fun writing it than you are in reading it.  Next month's chaptor is being written slowly as I have a lot of things going on.  We have a new addition to our family.  A wonderful 3 yr old Griffon Terrier has come to live with us.  I'm told he is part poodle and part Chihuahua but he looks more like a Griffon Terrier.

He came with long straggly gray and black hair.  Little brown eyes sparkled from behind long bangs.  His tail wagged so much that his whole body wiggled.  He got a hair cut and a bath yesterday.  The new hair cut and bath made a huge difference.  His name is Jonnee.

We recently moved into our new home as well.  The painting, cleaning, and remodeling has begun!  However, we are so happy in our 55+ community.  I'm at the age where I love children but love the freedom of a quiet neighborhood.

So much to be thankful for.  Thanksgiving came early to my life.  Well, actually I am thankful every day of my life.  We serve an awesome God!  I pray you will enjoy your holiday and enjoy some of my other stories until the next part of 'Salt and Pepper Affair' is posted.
