The Christmas List
Christmas is the one time of the year when we adults should watch our little children. The wonder and joy of Christmas can be seen as they see everything surrounded in lights and pretty packages. Most of the time, the children do not care what is inside the package. In fact, they do not even have a Christmas list.
How much does your Christmas joy cost? Can you buy joy for a day with enough credit for the rest of the year? We as adults have lost the concept of Christmas and replaced it with a dollar sign. The one with the most dollar has the most joy? Let it not be so! For Love came down on Christmas and that we still can enjoy. I pray this season that we do not go in debt trying to provide joy for a day. The world is suffering in such a financial way that we need to look to Christ more than ever this Christmas. Let our Christmas list be something like this...
