Flavor your coffee for less

In the past fifteen years, several coffee shops have made a big hit with their flavored coffee. In fact, the coffee shops have come back in a big way. Yet, in this time of economic crisis we sometimes can not afford to pay the extra for that cup of coffee and also the danish that goes with it.

I did some messing around in the kitchen and here's what I found. If I add a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon to my coffee grounds I have a wonderful new flavored coffee as the kitchen aromas are smelling nice too!

Also, if you add a teaspoon of vanilla to your coffee grounds before they brew you will end up with a superb flavored coffee.

A teaspoon of vanilla and a quarter of a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa also make a nice blend.

Back when our grandmothers went through the depression of the 1930's they had to learn to do things a little different. They survived on their wits and so will we. We might do things differently but we will survive and live to bless the Lord at all times!
